2/ to know at least the outlines of the story. These folks are close to Don Mcgahn in addition to Kavanaugh. Two days ago I heard from a legal prof who noted these cryptic tweets were spurring chatter in the legal academic world about what blockbuster these guys knew.
3/ Point is that it’s very clear a group of Whelan’s high profile associates were looped into this. Almost impossible that McGahn and Kavanaugh knew nothing about it. Whether they knew Whelan was going to go public with it, no idea. But beggars belief that they didn’t at ...
