The NYT released an article about how Rosenstein said he would wiretap Trump & invoke the 25th (clearly giving reason for Trump to fire him). Then days later, they say Rosenstein offered to resign & that he was "emotional" at the White House today. They rely heavily on WH sources
The thing that bothers me is that they don't let Rosenstein speak for himself.
They give the impression that anonymous White House sources are more credible than Rosenstein himself. And why is that? That's extremely perplexing to me.

I've read those two articles and it's apparent to me that Rosenstein's side of the story is missing. They're relying heavily on anonymous second-hand accounts about what Rosenstein "feels."
