Native Americans are dramatically underrepresented on law faculty and student bodies. Their treatment in America deserves legal reparations.

This cause needs more than professors checking a box to count as Native American quietly and bureaucratically, but not meaningfully.
We will never know if a law school didn’t interview an openly Native American candidate because Elizabeth Warren checked a box. But that question is real for those of us on the left. It’s not just a racist Trump attack line.
This DNA test doesn’t fix this problem.
