DeSantis wants proposed 16,000 acre reservoir instead of 60,000 acres approved by #Florida voters. 16K is too small! To hold this volume of water, it would have to be 30-40 feet deep. That's too deep, filtering plants wouldn't grow. It'll be 16K acres of algae! More problems.
I'm a real scientist. I've been in meetings with both candidates. DeSantis came in "telling us" what he'll do. @AndrewGillum on the other hand "talked to us" and listened. Between these two choices, I feel that Gillum is the better candidate to solve this problem.
The #1 issue is appointing SCIENTISTS to state's science boards, such as FWC board and the water management districts. Currently, instead of scientists, those positions are held by developers and lawyers. DeSantis wants more of this. Gillum wants #science. That's the solution!
