I was raised by my single black mother in Cleveland. One of the friends I’m pictured with was raised in Compton. Another was raised in a sketchy part of Miami. While not all of us are “from the hood,” you should probably focus on your failing music career vs. lying on strangers.
People like @TalibKweli literally want minorities to be oppressed to the point they shame us if we weren’t. I don’t understand who in their right mind would want to vote for an ideology and political party that functions this way.
We wore those “Make The Hood Great Again” shirts because we actually care about communities that are disproportionately affected by drugs, crime, and failing Democrat policies, @TalibKweli. Unlike you, we actually want the black community to one day not know what a ‘hood’ is.
