At my speech at Brandeis (sponsored by @CAMERAonCampus), there was a student from Saudi Arabia who said to me that before he came to Brandeis, he had no idea that Israel gives Arab citizens the right to vote & equal rights under law, unlike other minorities in the Middle East
He was very interested in the Joint List and their Palestinian solidarity from within the Knesset, which is so different from the politics Saudi Arabia and the Middle East in general.
It’s moments like this that I really love speaking on campuses and opening people’s eyes to things they didn’t know about Israel.
