I've had quite a few questions about Bellingcat's plans in The Netherlands, so to summarise, I'm currently planning to open an office in The Hague, which will contain business and admin operations, plus investigators 1/4
We’ll have a teams focused on Syria, Libya, and Yemen based in the office, as well as a team focused on working with local groups on local issues, building up a community of local investigators from a wide range of backgrounds 2/4
We’re already working with groups in Amsterdam and Utrecht to prepare workshops for locals to investigate local issues, and the new office will have a workshop/training space to help accommodate that 3/4
Once the office is established and everyone is hired, we’ll look at running similar projects in other Dutch cities and towns. Hopefully by the end of Spring next year everything will be set up and ready to go 4/4
