NYPD has diverted the march to Broadway, which is now closed to traffic. Cross streets are blocked by police motorcycles. March is coming up on Herald Square.
Just met a 23-year-old Texan Trump supporter visiting New York for the weekend. He's a pipeline worker and thinks Trump is doing great things for the economy. He was riding a CitiBike along with the crowd, beaming. He said the protest is fun to watch.
If you're just tuning in: I'd say the bulk of the march has reached Union Square or is about to get there.
