Be as mad as you want at @realDonaldTrump for calling out California, he’s not wrong. Governor Moonbeam is transfixed with “carbon” it’s what keeps him awake night, not prevention HE is largely at fault for stalling removal of millions of dead trees.

Don’t worry though his new plan hopes to see some improvement by 2020 that is of course if the “land surveys” are done in time and the climate freaks don’t sue to protect the precious dead trees.
Moonbeam created a “Tree mortality task force” YIPEE! After careful evaluation of environmental impact, CARBON (shudder), effectiveness, sustainability (*add more key words) they’ve managed to “thoughtfully remove” 800k dead trees since 2015 we only have 102 million more to go🤣

1/16 I live in #California and while not in harm’s way of the #CaliforniaFires, I empathize. Yesterday while driving to the post office, I heard on the radio about the people who died in their cars because they couldn’t make it out in time.
2/16 I teared up in front of the post office worker, it just freaking hit me while we were chatting. People burned alive, not because they ignored an order to evacuate, but because the fires were simply that fast.
3/16 The kind postal worker and I shared a moment—talked about loved ones and friends affected. She shared how her husband was helping people in their nearby community.

Speaking for *only* myself, this is what I would have wanted in this scenario from ANY of the observing white people in the café, grocery store, restaurant. (In all of these scenarios, I was the *only* patron of color, exacerbating the erasure.)
