A disgusting comment. EU didn’t pick this fight, has not drawn first, has not landed a single blow. Just said forget about ‘free cake’ and here’s your outstanding #brexit bar bill
EU also said, fine that you’re leaving but remember we’re both co-signatories to Good Friday Agreement(GFA), so we want a #Brexit that does not break our common promises. Your PM agreed to that and signed a legal agreement to that effect.
EU also told #Brexit UK what kind of deals are available after leaving, but you keep coming back with more requests for ‘free cake’ #cakism Graphic of the various deals available and what U.K. red lines are making them impossible. Canada style Deal is the logical end point

Some upset Corbynistas are claiming this photo was “photoshopped”. Are they correct? This is an amendment to Jeremy Corbyn’s motion of no confidence in Theresa May, signed by all the other opposition party leaders, to make it into a motion of no confidence in the entire government
It appears two separate motions of confidence were signed yesterday, one by Labour and one by the real opposition. It seems it is perfectly reasonable to assume both documents exist: One against @theresa_may May, one against the Government as a whole🤗

I compared these two motions side by side and you can clearly see they are two separate motions signed by the same MPs. You think that mad corbynista will apologise after accusing me of “photoshopping” Jeremy’s #Brexit motion? Best not hold my breath 😅 The two motions side by side show they are different documents signed by the same MPs. It seems that after trying to amend Labour’s motion of no confidence they decided they might as well have one of their own

1) Corbyn reality check
I'll admit I've never been a Corbyn fan, my personal low point was actually the Sky TV special he did just before the Ref

I actually hoped he'd push a pro EU line but instead, he spent more time on rail nationalisation than the EU, it was very depressing
2) the follow up with "we must trigger article 50 immediately" was shocking in itself but it was also the first time I saw Corbyn supporters pushing a "but what he meant was.." to any significant degree. That's the moment I suppose people really got entrenched either side
3) and its easy to understand why Corbyn's supporters feel under siege with the constant attacks.

But as we approach a cliff edge #Brexit in 100 days & Corbyn's limitations are helping to get us there, perhaps its time for a retrospective - maybe everyone was right?

Once upon a time the Government decided to ask the people a question: Cake or Pie?

“What?”, the people replied.

“Do you want cake, which we have had for many years, or do you want to change to pie? If you change, you can never have cake again”

“What kind of pie?”
“The kind of pie is still to be determined” said the Pie people “But it will be a good pie, and with the money we save we can buy some nurses and some of those machine-thingies to keep people alive”

The people were divided. Half of them wanted cake; they liked cake. A lot.
But half of them wanted pie. “The pie is British” said a silly man with a fag in one hand and a pint in the other. “But the cake isn’t. The cake comes from all over the place; some of it is Muslim cake - look, here is a misleading picture of all the cake streaming in”

The story centres around a power couple in Brexit politics, Matthew and Sarah Elliott. Matthew was chief of Vote Leave and still has fingers in lots of Brexit pies. Sarah is chair of Republicans overseas, and used to work for fossil fuel magnates the Koch brothers.
In the US, the couple have strong ties to the #Kochtopus network and libertarian Trump-funder Robert Mercer. In the UK, they have strong ties to the remnants of the Leave campaign, and a network of groups lobbying for mass deregulation post-Brexit based out of #TuftonStreet

So, as Mr Farage @nigel_farage said, this leaflet popped through our doors before the Referendum at a cost of £9M, This is probably the only research most people did, it was certainly true for me. Like most people, I took the EU for granted, it was just, there.

It was the most important decision of our lives, the government made it clear that we already control our own borders and there would be tough new restrictions on access to our welfare system for new EU migrants. The government was clear we should stay in the EU.

This is the first mention of leaving the Single Market, not that 'we will' as Farage keeps saying, but leaving will create uncertainty & risk. The government made it clear being in the Single Market means more jobs which rather disagrees with Mr Corbyn's Jobs First #Brexit
