When Mr. Burns vowed to block out the sun on the Simpsons I never thought a supposed very serious scientific movement would attempt to mimic him, and yet here they are
They are trying to SJW mob the sun. Best scientific timeline by far.
Well controlling China or India’s climate warming output is futile so I guess we’ll just take on THE FUCKING SUN.

This media phenomenon of treating Donald Trump as the first president to be a habitual liar is one of the most unintentional hilarious things about their daily hissy fits.
They genuinely still have zero understanding about why people elected that lunatic. If you want to fact check him live, great. But you wouldn’t dream of doing it for the last guy & it will all cease with the next one & everybody knows it.
It was all fun and games airing empty podiums and rallies for hours on end. But boy did that plan backfire and gosh we’re just not sure if we can air his presidential remarks now.

September was 🔥 on the Sun! It released 31 sizable solar flares and several coronal mass ejections in just 5 days. We and our partners are always watching the Sun, so we saw these events from several perspectives. Thread 👇
First things first: A solar flare is powerful burst of light radiation, and intense flares can interfere with communications.

A coronal mass ejection (CME) is a cloud of solar material + magnetic fields. They can spark #aurora.
Now for the space pictures! @NOAASatellites' #GOES16 watches the Sun in 6 different wavelengths. These images show an X9.3 solar flare on Sept. 6. (This was the most intense flare of the current solar cycle!)
