Trump got Manafort's letter asking for a job February 29, 2016, but didn't hire him for 30 days. Over that time, Manafort was making a case for a job. It was also during that time he met with Assange. Think he pitched that to Trump? Is that why Trump said Manafort could sink him?

3/ Paul Manafort met with Julian Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy in London in 2013, 2015 and 2016. Proof of Collusion documents the Trump-Russia plot's beginnings in 2013. The Guardian is reporting Russians began meeting with Assange in the embassy during that same time period.
4/ For a year I have been flogging this January 2018 NBC report on Trump privately telling friends that Manafort is the man who can sink him if he "flips." I have asked repeatedly why Manafort *specifically* is the *main* threat. Today's news will end up answering that question.
