UPDATE on the Wisconsin situation I wrote about in yesterday's newsletter (the bit about Republican lawmakers moving to strip the governor of as much authority as they can before Democrat Tony Evers gets sworn in)
Also this (currently in-person absentee voting is permissable for up to about 6 weeks prior to election day, depending on the locality).
Fun fact: In-person absentee voting set a midterm record in Wisconsin in 2018. 🤔
Can't imagine why, given the success and popularity of early voting, Wisconsin Republicans would want to curtail it...
