1. We are not defenseless against Russian propaganda but we need to take action against it. IMO @realDonaldTrump's @Twitter account is center of massive Russian influence operation. IMO Twitter is complicit. @FBIWFO @FBISanFrancisco appear to be doing nothing. Hope I'm wrong.
2. The CA AG @AGBecerra has jurisdiction over the @Twitter headquarters and the individuals who are refusing to enforce Twitter terms of service to bring down this massive botnet. But you can help. I installed @cbouzy's Botsentinel.com block lists & Chrome FF extension.
3. But I'm not likely to be impacted by these Russian bots but the uninformed Fox News fed #MAGA "poorly educated" that Trump and Russian GRU prey on can be and if these foreign accounts are shut down the propaganda, that IMO is illegal for Twitter to amplify, will be shut down.
4. We are waiting for Mueller to suddenly free us from the nightmare from the Russian enlistment of Trump and the GOP to assist in GRU warfare against US. We have dual federal-state system. US Constitution gives states power to defend from foreign attack if DC is in enemy hands.
5. We don't know when or if Mueller will stop this. Every state needs to enact statutes to be employed against social media companies that allow foreign enemies to attack with impunity. @Facebook could be broken into US and international versions. I think ad model is done.
6. Twitter may be able to survive but with current management allowing a Presidential Russian Botnet may have outlived its usefulness. Twitter was a wonderful idea. I would miss it. But I love my country more. States need to act. Olympus has fallen. @Twitter needs to pick a side.
