Um. Can we talk about how Trudeau's explanation is just nonsense buzzwords that doesn't accurately explain what quantum computing is really about?

No, that's not it at all, not even close.

Quantum computers allow us to solve exponential problems in polynomial time. Said simpler, quantum weirdness allows us to solve some problems in fewer steps than the fastest possible solutions with non-quantum computers.
I guess even simpler: quantum computers can (in the near future, probably) solve problems that won't ever really be solvable with classic computers.
