Let me get this straight. The @FBI raided a whistleblower for documents regarding the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One and handed them over to Warner who communicates directly with Oleg Deripaska’s lawyer? Cool. Nothing could go wrong. @ChuckGrassley
Consider all of that information compromised and worthless, guess that was the point. FML
Makes sense really Warner is best buds with Mueller as well (who’s connected to U1 and Deripaska) so they needed to get that little hiccup out of the way.

The FBI raided the home of an FBI contractor whistleblower, Dennis Nathan Cain.

What I find strange is that his own attorney outed him. When this was published, I couldn't find any other info on him, nor could I find any local news reports about a raid.
Cain had supposedly provided files/documents related to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to a rep from the OIG's office, according to the article.

He also supposedly gave the same info to Congress - to the Senate and House Intelligence Committees.
His lawyer expressed outrage that federal agents would raid the home of a protected whistleblower, who used the correct channels to blow the whistle.

However, the article seems to infer that Cain still had files/documents in his possession, which I think would be illegal.

Per The Whistleblower Act, it authorizes employees of contractors to take government property and give it to the two intelligence committees confidentially.

Which Cain did in 2016.
Today, Cain was intimidated, so he handed over all of the documents the warrant requested.

FBI went on to tear through his house for 6 more hours.

We need to keep whistleblowers safe - if they do not, he could be another number to the Clinton Body Count.
