Earlier, I posted a list of interactions Flynn had with the campaign, transition and administration. I wasn't expecting explicit confirmation of these events in today's statement. I did expect to get a sense of where Flynn was helpful. And we did. 2/8
The statement says Flynn corroborated a Washington Post article that Flynn DID discuss sanctions in a text exchange with Russian Ambassador Kislyak. this implies, Flynn admits he was compromised. 3/8 documentcloud.org/documents/5425… 
The statement also confirms Flynn did, in fact, work for Turkey as a consultant and that there was an attempt to kidnap a Turkish cleric. 4/8
But Mueller stresses Flynn's assistance about the transition. Flynn was vice-chair of the transition team under the chairmanship of @VP Mike Pence. Flynn's testimony will likely provide first-hand evidence of the inside dealings of the transition. 5/8
We know Pence was in daily communication with Paul Manafort during the transition, discussing every position. Flynn's testimony likely confirms this contact and focus attention on Pence.

Also, Pence was aware Flynn was compromised as early as the transition, yet he still endorsed him for National Security Adviser. Why would he knowingly appoint a compromised NSA? And why quote him on TV? 7/8
So we're led to this: Flynn, Pence and Manafort were co-conspirators, and Flynn has revealed everything. In another deft move, the SC has cornered @vp Pence. It could end his presidential dreams and, considering who just won the House, prompt a succession crisis. /END
