1. As Israelis, we are a resilient people, and have regrettably experienced more than our fair share of horrific terror attacks. But what happened in the community of Ofra last Sunday 9th December, truly shook us to the core.
2. Following the last night of Chanukah celebrations, one of the most joyous Jewish holidays, a group of Israelis were waiting at a bus station, when Palestinian terrorists drove by in a car and opened fire in a hail of bullets.
3. Among the seven people injured, were a young married couple Amichai and Shira Ish-Ran. Shira was 21 years old and 30 weeks pregnant at the time of the shooting. As a result of the attack, the baby had to be delivered prematurely.
4. Yesterday, 3 nights after the attack, the infant, who had been heroically fighting for his life, lost his battle. He was not even a week old.

5. Fact of matter is, barbaric attacks like these do not occur in a vacuum. Such acts of pitiless slaughter are the direct result of a pervasive Palestinian infrastructure headed by Palestinian Authority (PA) President Abbas in the West Bank and their Hamas brethren in Gaza ...
6. ... indoctrinating hate, inciting violence and instilling a worldview justifying such gruesome acts.
7. Moreover, such heinous acts of slaughter are only enabled and underwritten by the international community, most of whom do not waste a breath to condemn Israel over ‘settlements’, but continue to turn their backs to Palestinian terror and incitement.
8. Take just last week, where in an historic U.S.-led resolution before the United Nations General Assembly, the international community failed to pass a vote to condemn Hamas.

@jdgreenblatt45 10. In the meantime, the family of Salil Barghouti, the terrorist who murdered the infant child in Ofra, will now receive a ‘pension’ for life from the PA under their perverse 'Pay to Slay' program – blood money underwritten by the int'l community, and especially the EU.
11. This program, mandated under Palestinian law, requires the PA to reward Palestinian terrorists and their families with monthly stipends or salaries.

12. Abbas said recently: "Even if we have only a penny left, we will give it to the martyrs, the prisoners and their families," adding "we view the prisoners and the martyrs as planets and stars in the skies of the Palestinian struggle, and they have priority in everything."
13. Meantime, @ErakatSaeb, the Palestinian Chief Negotiator and Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (@nadplo), has labeled these terror payments as a form of "welfare system".

One that shares their liberal values and lives in peace with Israel, or one that condones the murder of infant children & then rewards their murderers with salaries for life?

Before burial last night of the infant murdered in the Ofra shooting, his parents, who could not even bury him in person, because they were still recovering themselves in hospital, gave him the name 'Amiad Yisrael'. In Hebrew, it means 'my people Israel, forever.'

Today, less than 24 hours after young Amiad was laid to rest, another terror attack occurred a short distance from where she was murdered, with two Israelis in the 20s killed after terrorist got out of his car and went on a shooting rampage.
