Why use it over stock app? Music discovery is a major hurdle for the stock app with curated songs hidden away in different tabs & several taps away. Soor solves this by having just a single page layout, Apple curated content right on the first screen.

Also it has a dark theme.
Soor is the first and only full featured 3rd party Apple music app. Play, search, like, share, create playlists, browse Apple curated content and add songs from across the entire Apple Music catalogue.
An extensive use of gestures across the entire app make using the app fun. Stuff like adding multiple songs to up next or to a playlist are just a drag away.
Speaking of gestures there are a few never-before-seen user interaction mechanisms.

As our phones become taller most of the content on top becomes hard to reach.

Soor has something I call 'pull to reach'. You use it to trigger top bar actions.
You can even use it to bring up the keyboard.
Well what if you are scrolled down, how do you trigger actions or dismiss views?

Simply *force* pull-to-reach. You'll be surprised how intuitive it can be. One caveat thought, it requires a 3D touch capable device. Sorry XR users.
Search is universally accessible, simply pull down to search from any screen. Search your local music library or across the entire Apple Music catalogue.

And yes, the recent list stores more than 100 previous searches.
You also get sing along lyrics thanks to @Musixmatch action extension. Simply install the Musixmatch app and get timed lyrics for millions of songs right from within Soor.
If you're tired of waiting for the official music app to get a dark theme, you'll love this.

Soor comes with 3 themes to start with -- Light, Dark & Black.

But it's been built to be easily themable so more themes will be added soon.
Some more info. on the view transitions used in the app. I spent way more time on it that I'd like (~2 months!) but the custom nav controller is what enables pull-to-reach feature. It's fully interactive and looks great. (look inspired from @jaredsinclair's 'sodes app)
