The paper compares the scale of emissions savings from material productivity strategies to those modelled by BEIS for climate policies over the second to fifth carbon budgets. Emissions savings from material productivity strategies are comparable to those from existing policies 
Planned climate policies will save 31Mt in 2032 compared to today's policies. The material productivity strategies would further reduce these between 2 and 21 Mt CO2e - a 43%, 24% and 23% reduction in emissions embodied in vehicles, construction, and clothing and textiles
