Calling all politicians...

The day you stop being collective idiots about Brexit is the day that I will stop calling you out on your cluelessness.

Everything is tilted in favour of you understanding the situation: you have impact assessments, select committees, preparedness

reports, economic projections, expert testimony, and the full backing of the civil service (9,000 of whose members are working full-time on Brexit)

If after all that you don't understand such basics as the fact there's no implementation or transition period after a no-deal

Brexit, or that most of the world does NOT trade on WTO terms alone, or that Brexit is already costing jobs and investments, or that the financial industry is moving large chunks of business to the EU27, or that EU citizens in the UK and UK citizens in the EU are beside

themselves with worry about what will happen to them and their families, or that businesses are screaming themselves hoarse looking for more clarity as to which was the Brexit negotiations will play out, or that the health and pharmaceutical sectors have warned that no deal

preparations are inadequate, or that no deal would eviscerate the haulage industry because they will have less than 5% of the permits they need to keep doing business in the EU, or the fact that the problems with the fisheries industry can be laid squarely at the door of

successive governments, or you don't understand that Brexit threatens the breakup of the Union, or you fall back on worn, widely derided tropes like "we're too big to fail" or "Britain will find a way" or "they need us more than we need them", or you sit on your hands when you

could have taken action to stop the chaos...

If ANY of the above describes you, make no mistake about it: YOU are the real Enemy of the People, and the blame for Brexit is on your head. Not remainers. Not those who "refuse to believe" strongly enough. Not a Brussels court. YOU.
