Today really has seen Parliamentary displacement activity get taken to the next level.
Leaving without a deal is mad, and if you want to leave with a deal, it looks something like the one on the table. If you don't like the deal on the table then you can still choose to remain.
As to the future relationship with the EU, you can have an all UK approach which means the backstop might not need to be relied upon, but it will have to be very, very deep and intertwined, or you can have a Canada-style deal, but only for GB (NI'll need supplementary provisions)
We've known all this for months. There is no perfect option or silver bullet. And ultimately Parliament is going to need to decide, and compromise. At the moment is just seems like grabbing 5 minutes of fame on Sky is being prioritised over the future of the country. Depressing.
