This is pretty amazing. Corsi raised $25k from his listeners for what is pretty obviously a scam. A scam the slightest bit of due diligence would have exposed. dailycaller.com/2018/12/13/cor…
One detail @DailyCaller @ChuckRossDC didn’t include: The phony website for the nonexistent doctor Corsi’s viewers funded suggests you can “come see us in person” at their clinic. The address given is actually for a PO Box at a UPS Store. mendelsohnconsulting.com
Some cutting edge cancer treatments going on there, huh?
This is sick. Corsi is holding out the promise of some miraculous but costly treatment to desperate people with advanced cancers. And claiming “first-hand experience” with the methods of a doctor who clearly not exist.
I cannot think of an explanation for this story that doesn’t involve a Corsi being in on the scam. A scam that conned a bunch of gullible (probably mostly elderly) people out of $25,000. Maybe more if the scam wasn’t limited to the GoFundMe page.
I hope someone has referred this for criminal prosecution, because it looks like a slam dunk. Unquestionably fraud by Sickler, and hard to see how Corsi could make all those claims about a nonexistent doctor without being complicit.
Corsi began talking up the fake doctor invented for this scam in late June. The nonexistent doctor’s fake website was created via a proxy registrar in August.
Note: in addition to touting the bogus $25k GoFundMe, Corsi tells his viewers & readers to *e-mail Corsi directly* with inquiries about the non-existent doctor’s non-existent (but very costly) cancer treatments. He doesn’t say call the doctor: he says to contact HIM. Why?
He’s been active on Twitter today, but @jerome_corsi has said nothing to warn his fans that he recommended they donate money to an elaborate scam.
In fact, @jerome_corsi even posts video of himself shedding crocodile tears to @trish_reagan that his foes are investigating “my work with cancer patients.” Meaning his role in promoting a fraud perpetrated by someone who is almost certainly not a real cancer patient.
The fake cancer patient, by the way, has abruptly taken his account private.
The fake cancer doctor’s Twitter account, on the other hand, is still public. For some reason, he appears to have spent a lot of time around Nov 18 exclusively retweeting messages of support to... Jerome Corsi.
