From the redacted notes of the FBI’s interview with Mike Flynn: While agents were asking him about his conversations with the Russian ambassador, they asked if he recalled any convos about the UN vote on Israeli settlements. “Flynn quickly responded, ‘Yes, good reminder.’”
(The NYT reported last year that Mueller’s team has emails showing Flynn saying he would work to kill the vote.)
From the memo: “Flynn again stated that he appreciated the interviewing agents reminding him that he had another conversation with Kislyak.”
Agents asked Flynn if he had any convos with the Russian ambassador about the expulsion of Russian diplomats or closing of Russian properties in response to Russian interference. “Flynn stated that he did not.” (The charging documents from when he pleaded guilty show he did.)
Flynn told the agents he did not understand why the Obama administration expelled 35 Russian intelligence operatives. “Flynn stated he could understand one PNG [persona non grata], but not thirty five,” the memo notes.
