We don’t talk about this much but there’s zero chance Donald Trump hasn’t suborned perjury at some point in the last two years.

There’s a better chance he’s done it daily than never.
Here’s Lindsey Graham in 1998 arguing a president should be impeached for sending people out to lie for him in order to avoid the consequences of his actions.
LEFT: Cohen says Trump told him to lie to Congress in order to hide Trump’s ties to Russia.

RIGHT: Text of Article III of Clinton impeachment.
BONUS PRECEDENT: Nixon impeachment Article I, as adopted by House Judiciary Committee
This, from Article III of Clinton’s impeachment, is a little … on the nose.
If we apply this standard from Clinton’s impeachment — making false statements to *potential* witnesses, in hopes they repeat the false statements — Trump has undoubtedly met this standard for impeachment scores of times, if not hundreds.
Hey @LindseyGrahamSC, I’m talking to you here, you fraudulent little quisling.

This contemporaneous Washington Post explanation of Article III of Clinton’s impeachment, as passed by the House, is worth reflecting on.

Does anyone — anyone at all — think Trump hasn’t told comparable or larger lies to aides? washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politic…
Now, I think — and argued at the time — that standard wasn’t a good one. But:

1) Perhaps @LindseyGrahamSC should say that; he voted for Article III.

2) Trump has exceeded that standard and others by a massive amount.
