California Sanctuary State law in action: ICE requests to pick this guy up, receives no response because of law, prison releases him. In only a few hours Gustavo Garcia Ruiz committed 11 crimes, murdered 2, and shot at others before he was killed during a high-speed police chase.
Multiple gruesome murders and a dead cop just this week because of California’s sanctuary state law. How much longer until elected Democrats return to their formerly sane position and agree to secure the border for good? How many more preventable deaths? This can’t continue.
This is very simple. If California had allowed law enforcement to communicate with ICE so that ICE could take custody of the two illegal immigrant murderers this week they would never have been able to murder anyone. Their victims would be alive. How does anyone excuse this?
Beyond ending sanctuary cities & states, we know border walls work. The wall done on a bipartisan basis under Obama in the Yuma area has seen illegal immigration cut by nearly 90%. A wall will save lives and money. The wall should have tunnel detection & drone capture tech too.
This used to be common sense stuff. If you know the numbers show you lives and money will be saved, you do it. As recently as the 2000’s elected Democrats agreed with Republicans on this. Truth is they’ve turned spineless since the far left fell in love with open borders.
The families of those killed by illegal immigrants are Democrats & Republicans. They all agree this needs to end. It’s time @chuckschumer and @NancyPelosi find a compromise with @realDonaldTrump that gives us border security and a wall. Everyone can win if they have the courage.
