4/ Opioids & this ritual is what allows me to go to work & appear normal, but I still spend most of my non-work time resting. I am always in pain, it’s just a question of how well controlled it is...
5/ Don’t make me bedridden, isolated, & a drain on public health care when I am currently a very high-functioning member of society & economy because of a single minded and incomplete view of narcotic pain medication in society.

If you don’t want to insta, I find this important enough to being the data to you on your preferred platform.
Also, she’s 11 so she leaks. Which is fine by me, because she’s 11 and I expect I will leak when I’m her age too. But that’s why all the towels and actually waterproof mattress cover underneath. Just in case. Because peoplebed snuggles are the best snuggles. Just ask her.

1. For 2019, on top of the promise I’ve been keeping for over 10 years, I promise to take EVERY chance when given a 0-10 scale with a long answer box to give some scathing criticism of 11 pt scales, meaningless metrics, & offer ideas to create meaningful ones. #measurewhatmatters

Greyhound could refuse consent to search and force ICE to either get a warrant or challenge them in court. Under the current law it would likely be upheld, but there's not even a challenge to fight over when Greyhound just consents up front

ICE is an ever-present danger everywhere. Taxpayers were better-served under the INS.
