Then, these political operatives were upset that their boss was fired (Comey, also a political anti-Trump operative) and used the freaking Lester Holt interview as part of their reasoning to open an investigation INTO THE PRESIDENT OF THE USA?

You can't make this up.
Flashback: Donald Trump tells Lester Holt that firing Comey could make the Russia investigation take LONGER but that it was the right thing to do.

The FBI considered this to be working for Russia? LOL. The New York Times is a joke and so is this witch hunt.
