“Last night the Republican Party defied history,” begins @POTUS.
At news conference @POTUS names those of the @GOP who lost and didn’t “want to have any embrace” with him. #Midterms2018 
“They can play that game but we can play it better,” says @POTUS of @TheDemocrats and threatened investigations, mentioning “leaks of classified information.”
“If they’re doing that” then he and @GOP won’t cooperate on legislation with @TheDemocrats, warns @POTUS.
“It really could be a beautiful bipartisan situation,” says @POTUS.
“I think we have a very good chance” of bipartisanship, predicts @POTUS.
“I’d rather answer that at a little bit different time,” replies @POTUS when asked about job security for @jeffsessions and Deputy AG Rosenstein.
Asked about releasing his personal tax returns, @POTUS insists he’s still under IRS audit.
“Sit down” @POTUS says to @PeterAlexander and then takes a follow-up question from him.
“I could have ended it anytime I wanted and didn’t,” says @POTUS of Mueller investigation. “I think it’s very bad for our country and a shame.”
“They should look at the other side also.”
“Sit down. I didn’t call on you,” @POTUS says to @AprilDRyan. “Such a hostile media.” (She tried to ask about “voter suppression.”)
“I don’t understand what you’re saying,” @POTUS replies to a reporter with an accent.
“I think people like me,” @POTUS says the result off the #Midterms2018 demonstrate.
“We’re going to make a full report” on whether any evidence if #China and #Russia meddled in #Midterms2018.
On his promised 10% tax cut for the middle class, @POTUS says he’d still love to see it but doesn’t have the votes right now.
Despite Kremlin saying he’ll lunch with Putin on Sunday @POTUS says he doesn’t think anything one-on-one is scheduled.
“People leave,” replies @POTUS when asked about pending staff changes. “We have many people lined up for every single postion.”
“If I make a mistake, cover it but cover it fairly,” @POTUS says to reporters, again insisting he isn’t getting adequate media coverage for his successes.
“God plays a big factor in my life,” replies @POTUS to a question.
“Say hello to Shinzo,” @POTUS tells a Japanese reporter.
“There’s no rush whatsoever” to conclude a denuclearization pact with the #DPRK. “Sometime in early next year” he’ll meet Kim Jong Un again.
“We want to see it heal,” @POTUS says of the bitter division in the US.
“I think I am a great moral leader.”
“I came in here as a nice person” and was confronted by hostile reporters “jumping out of their seats,” says @POTUS.
“This was a great victory for us,” says @POTUS of the #Midterms2018.
“That’s such a racist question,” when asked by @Yamiche of his use of the term ‘nationalist’ and its perceived connection to white nationalists.
“I retired him. I’m very proud of it. I did the country a great favor,” says @POTUS of @JeffFlake (in answer to a question from @fran_chambers.)
“I’ve never used a racist remark,” declares @POTUS and then shuts down the @YahooNews reporter asking the question, who cited claims from several people including @MichaelCohen212.
“We’re looking at it very seriously,” replies @POTUS on whether he’ll sign exec order on birthright citizenship.
“I believe all hate is a problem,” says @POTUS.
“The people of our country are very happy with the job that I’m doing,” says @POTUS.
And that’s it after an hour and 26 minutes.
During the long news conference word came that @jontester had fended off a challenge from @MattForMontana of the @GOP. #Midterms2018 #Montana
Permanent @WhiteHouse credentials of @Acosta pulled with @PressSec stating that "as a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice."
