Reproductive freedom — including whether or not to become a parent — is a basic right and part of living a safe and healthy life.
46 years after Roe v. Wade, anti-abortion politicians are pushing abortion care out of reach, state by state.
Anti-abortion politicians have been silently passing extreme restrictions for decades, making it nearly impossible in some states to get one — like in Kentucky, where there's only one clinic left in the whole state.

Today, William Barr, Trump's nominee for Attorney General, will face the Senate Judiciary Committee. During his confirmation hearing, Senators must press him on his record and how it will affect our civil rights and civil liberties.
Jeff Sessions' Department of Justice dismantled legal protections for the vulnerable and politicized the department's powers in ways that threaten American democracy. Under Barr, the DOJ could fare even worse.
Barr has supported aggressive anti-immigrant policies, opposed criminal justice reform, lauded intrusive surveillance of Americans, said Roe v. Wade should be overturned, and supported denying civil rights protections to transgender people. aclu.org/blog/criminal-…

There is indeed a humanitarian crisis at the border — but it is one of this administration’s own making. Its manufactured security emergency isn’t credible.
President Trump and Secretary Nielsen have lied about border conditions and continued to push narratives that are proven false.

Their denial of the humanity and rights of immigrants is driving this administration’s policy agenda — and it’s killing people.
We are just days away from the longest government shutdown in American history and the president appears to be more focused on procuring his xenophobic symbol than running the government and upholding democratic norms.

@BFMradio :: The letter is addressed to members of the media. Not to members of the public. Regardless of good intention, fwding the letter to those other than intended reader is to violate the writer’s agency. If you want to help, don't start by disregarding what the writer intends.
@BFMradio The writer is already aware of the high cost s/he may face for disclosing this. Exposing wrongful power practices - and sexual harassment is a form of wrongful practice of power - is always risky.

This is a taking the slander propaganda campaign against Rosenstein up a notch to try to discredit Mueller’s process and findings.

Meadows’ Chief of Staff was forced to resign because of alleged sexual harassment. Meadows nonetheless chose to keep him on payroll.

Jordan knowingly allowed pedophiles to continue abusing boys.
