Marina High Student in the room is asking for lockers to keep books as part of Marina High modernization.
Community members making note that Seaside High is NOT the last high school in region without turf field. Marina doesn’t yet have a proper field and track of any material.
Student shared that Marina High needs performing arts facility - for musical and theatre. Parents said that performing arts builds community support too.
Community member suggests (and others agree) that a joint use performing arts facility in Marina would be supported and desirable.
Important: projects are just conceptual proposal at this point! The school board hasn’t voted yet! Attend the town hall meetings, take the online survey, and bring your friends to speak during public comment at a school board meeting. Let us know what you want! We work for you!
