When an arc continues in direction it becomes a circle. Self sustaining. Let the circle be unbroken.
When this is turned into letter symbols arcs of various lengths and successes can look like this: D G C Q O
If a O is a perfect circle and wants to fold itself through a worm hole from Sirius to here, as it moves, photon by photon, the circle stops consuming and lets the light go through. In stages that circle looks odd through the mirror of the worm hole.
The circle cannot see the other side, but believes in its process. As it diminishes in light, the single photon on the other side has become more, creating the beginning of an arc. The arc looks in the mirror and defines itself poorly, as something other than a perfect circle.
But the arc continues to grow in photons, gaining in light and the ability to recognize itself. In the mirror it sees that it is becoming something else. Is it a C now, less than the circle? "Is the rest of me on the other side?" it may wonder.
The arc as a C recognizes that for it to complete itself as the circle it BELIEVES it is to become, it must not define itself as anything else UNTIL IT IS A CIRCLE. If it doesn't wait for ALL the photons to arrive, it may not connect it perfectly. Like a D, it would not sustain.
So the C chooses to act in a way that will ENSURE that it will be completed. How will the ARC know it's complete? If in the beginning the first photon created a MIRROR for ITSELF HERE, then when the 1st photon finally returns to its beginning in the cycle of circular motion...
...it will "see" itself and the mirror can be removed once the circle is ready to recognize its self is now HERE instead of Sirius. It might look something like this right before it recognizes itself: Q
