John Minford, Sun Tzu 1-7: "Discipline is organization, chain of command, control of expenditure."

Say the word "discipline" to most of us in #MAGA, and I'm afraid you're very likely to get a dirty look right back. I keep going off about Saul Alinsky and his main book Rules for Radicals. Do you note the irony? If they're such radicals, why do they obey rules?

The truth is that you cannot take over a freedom-loving country, teach it to throw away its rights and embrace the values of suppression and big government control, unless you create a deeply disciplined cadre of leaders.

You can bet your bottom dollar Alinsky studied Sun Tzu. The first, most important term Sun Tzu gives us in defining discipline is organization. As we work this 2,500 year old guidance, we will see again and again that if we're going to win the War for America, we must organize.

What do hear next? Chain of command. Who among us is willing to be commanded? Who on the other side is willing to be commanded? On this basis alone, Sun Tzu would surely predict our defeat. They have chain of command. We don't.

But aren't we the best at control of expenditure? They spend billions. We spend, well not much. Perhaps by control of expenditure, in order to follow Sun Tzu, we'd have to be spending...something? Maybe? NOT maybe! The way we hoard our cash, Sun Tzu would predict defeat again.

Here's what we must face. There are two ways to win. You can win by winning. Or, you can win by not losing. 2016? We won by not losing. 2020? It WILL NOT BE THE SAME AGAIN. We cannot prepare for victory, thinking 2016 will repeat. We know it won't. It can't. That's not possible.

It is famous that everyone prepares to fight the last war, yet the next one is always completely different. Consider, Trump is POTUS. In 2016 he was a maverick upstart. No one believed he had a chance so we had the advantage of surprise. If HRC had a time machine, she'd use it.

You can be 100% certain HRC would have campaigned differently if she had even one time thought she might lose. Please, please remember, @realDonaldTrump cannot win his first election a second time. History cannot repeat.

How do we transform for victory? We begin, just one of us at a time, to transform the way we think, first. We listen to Sun Tzu and place the word "discipline" in a sacred place in our mind, heart and soul. We come to crave it, to study it, to embrace it. We learn to value it.

Flowing from our newly sacred discipline, we start to organize. This means nothing more than helping others, and coordinating effort. We bring ourselves together in groups. This can begin in social media, by bringing like minded #MAGAites together and simply ask, how will we win?

We must create a structure - an organized endeavor - where leaders lead and followers follow. This will not happen at first, when we'll just be ragtag visionaries tilting at windmills. But when we bump into each other, recognize each other and join forces, organization emerges.

Then, as soon as possible, we will create true chain of command, stretching across America, preparing for the fight of our lives, together. We won't spend wantonly, but we will spend. We will raise money and use it wisely. We must learn these arts.

And finally, we must never lose sight of both the raging battle and the ultimate victory. With 100% faith in a totally unlikely outcome, we fight to win. We work backwards from that victory to today's action, dedicating everything we have to it.

And we study Sun Tzu very well.
