John Minford, Sun Tzu 1-8, "Every commander is aware of the five fundamentals. He who grasps them wins; he who fails to grasp them loses."

First, let's review the five fundamentals:

1) The Way
2) Heaven
3) Earth
4) Command
5) Discipline

Next, let's return again to 2016, as we need to discuss the work that @GenFlynn and I did again, in light of today's verse. It's been greatly under reported that he and @realDonaldTrump, in addition to their friendship, spent countless hours in analysis together, planning.

As many of you know, it was my honor to work though much of the information together with Gen Flynn, in serving and supporting his work with Trump. And, in our analysis, we agreed that The Way and Heaven were bedrock in the #MAGA movement.

Command was weak and Earth and Discipline were not 100% negative, but "weak" is too weak a term. We were extraordinarily challenged over Earth and Discipline. But we saw, as well, that HRC did NOT have The Way, Heaven was against her, and...

In spite of her advantages in Earth and Discipline, her Command itself was the worst in American political history. We knew we could win, and with the pain of hope, never being certain, we believed we would, but knew we'd have to fight with more than all we were.

I won't get into the weeds of how we made those calculations, but I assure you, since both Gen Flynn and I are students of Sun Tzu, we took precisely these questions very seriously. Not so much in these specific terms, more by the spirit of the guidance itself, applied.

It is in significant part for this reason that I believe the Mueller Investigation has, as its main goal relative to Gen Flynn, his silencing. I consider Gen Flynn to be the Michael Jordan of the Trump campaign. There were many other great players. He was the most important.

You need not accept my judgment of that. Consider the timing - he was the first - and the extent of the endeavor by our enemies to take him off the field of fight. You can know your enemy's valuations by observing their behavior. They consider him too dangerous, period.

Employing the same analysis, I propose that his silencing was one of the greatest assets they won for themselves in 2018. ?Their objective is obviously to wipe out his power, destroy his reputation and remove him forever forward if they can. This is a very real possibility.

And that brings us to 2020, and these same fundamental factors. I propose that The Way and Heaven are still with us, but that our opponents have understood this and are working very hard to simulate both on their side. That they have turned to socialism to do so is clear.

Our best asset on their side remains their hellaciously bad Command. No matter who arises on their side, they cannot speak with the voice of authority that we enjoy. They lie in everything they say. It's not that you can't win, lying, that's been done many times.

But, with Trump being the greatest candidate we've ever seen, and with his now established record of truth telling and promise keeping, his integrity with us is beyond anything they can conceive let alone understand. We have tremendous advantages here. However...

Our disadvantages in Earth and Discipline remain and if we're not extremely careful, may grow worse to the point of actual defeat. Let's say that Sun Tzu's way. It is very possible we will NOT grasp the five fundamentals and in this ignorance suffer defeat.

We absolute do have the time to consolidate our strengths and address our weaknesses. What cannot do is dither and dally. We must face the stark black and white of victory or defeat. We must embrace the risk of defeat, in order to properly prepare for victory.

The greatest news is that we have Sun Tzu. He will guide us ever deeper into the world of the winning mind that determines battle outcomes long before the first soldier arrives at or set foot upon the field of fight. Tomorrow's verse will empower precisely this.
