The young Kavanaugh from Kentucky who got in the face of a Native American got a little help putting out his statement. Nope, he didn’t hire Olivia Pope, he hired PR Firm RunSwitch based in Louisville who are tied to Mitch McConnell’s Kentucky Super PAC...

IMHO theres been a huge visceral reaction to the Gillette commercial from the Trump base.
The right believe their “boys” are under attack & not allowed to be boys.
They’re making this kid the poster boy by painting him a victim.
Its the right fanning the flames amongst their base
Trump jumping on the bandwagon w/ a tweet to defend the kid isn’t coincidence either. This is a targeted campaign telling Trumps base that their boys club mentality is under attack from women
I’m not saying the incident was staged but I think the Far right is capitalizing on it

It’s likely Barr will be our new AG but will he really be working in the interest of Trumps agenda?
Is he really seeking to serve at the pleasure of Trump or is he riding a Trojan Horse into Trumps domain?

Did Barr write his memo to seek the job & if so WHY does he want the job?
In exchange for pledging Trump loyalty your career ends in disgrace, you’re subjected to abuse & public shaming, all so you can do whatever Trump wants?
Did Barr REALLY voluntarily sign up for this?
What are his motives?
Is he there to serve Trump, our Country, or another reason?
Was Barrs memo a targeted approach to get Trump to nominate him?
Are the arguments he made in the memo his true beliefs or was it simply to bait & hook Trump?
An unsolicited memo arguing against prosecuting Trump & sent specifically to Trumps lawyers certainly seems strategic...

And when did the word Progressive become an American swear word?
If a 70% Tax Rate seems shocking it’s not~
👉Eisenhower’s top tax was 91%
👉In the 60’s it was 70%
👉Under Reagan=50%
And thats without “loopholes”

All-boy schools like Covington Catholic High School of Kentucky, featured in this terrible video harassing a Native American elder, give me a bad vibe in general.

Like, how does living in an artificially gender-segregated society help prepare you for the real world? It doesn't.
Looking through the Covington Catholic school website (which features a ton of student pics) it's easy to see that it's an almost exclusively white school too.

A lot whiter than the area the school is based in. It's a school for the wealthy (tuition can cost up to $9,000/year).
These are photos of the Covington Catholic High School basketball team (the school in the Native American harassment video) vs the local public school kids at Holmes High School, 4 miles away.

It's extremely clear who @CovCathColonels is meant for.

Of course he has denied everything so far: that is what he must say as long as his nomination stands. But what he is saying privately to the WH and Rs in Congress must be quite different. 2/4
Rs probably suspected from the outset that the nomination was vulnerable for the reasons that have become crystal clear to us in the last several days, but I doubt they realized just how BAD it was. 3/4
