I am at the cafe--not the coffee shop, still waiting on the reopen--and some dude is talking about the law of attraction and changing the polarity. His date(?) has her arms folded in polite waiting-for-him-to-stop.
"You could change the polarity and turn it down. You should try that. It's so great! Maybe this summer, you know. I'm sure there are guys who are attracted to you, you just need to change the polarity." Maybe this isn't a date.
She said something. He says: "So my question to you is, is this in the past? The recent past?" I can't understand what she's saying, her voice falls right in my deaf spot.
She has spoken at great length, with hand gestures. He keeps saying "right, all right," in that undertone of "I want you to shut up so I can talk but I'm agreeing." More hand gestures.
I can't tell if he's a therapist, with a cult, or trying to sell her on some kind of Ponzi scheme.
Oh, they're getting up. "Right, right. Let's keep this conversation going, especially in the next few weeks as you get clarity on some stuff. Right, all right." I have no idea what I just witnessed.
He was REALLY into her changing her polarity of the law of attraction though.
