I'm just going to leave this here for now about 'blue electrical tape' being used for trafficking...

in N. America/Mx, blue wiring is only used for 3-phase wiring used by industrial equipment, motors, NOT 2-phase household equipment.

cf Euro wiring, where all used blue for N
So, that's tells me that anyone trafficking women with blue electrical tape (which is used on blue wire) either

a) is involved in installation/maintenance of industrial equipment in MX or US, and is a coyote/trafficker on the side
b) coyotes are actually coming from Argentina - the only New World country I found that uses blue for neutral - to traffic women across the US/MX border

Based on personal knowledge, I would contend that the substance of the agreement was not breached.

But without info re: other statements publicly made prior to 2008 about the 'rumours' from sources like you that may have influenced Individual A's decision... should be allowed

Journalists - I've built a few tools for my own use in the past two years that I think could be of use to both investigation management & seamlessly enriching semantic content in print.

I'm curious - are there digital tools you use to manage your research to production flow?
What tools are out there that are currently used?

Scrivener?

Word + a bunch of scattered photos, A/V, pdfs, spreadsheets?

Do your newsrooms have proprietary solutions to go from research to digital publication (for print)?
I'm interested in improving discovery of both individual articles relevant to a subject over a relevant timeframe and making it simple to visualize and map out relationships between entities, individuals, locations, events, dates, etc.

So I recently reread the Belgariad, because I read it when I was in middle school and remembered it being kinda YA-ish and was wondering what 1980s high fantasy YA looked like in comparison to today's. Holy shit, these books are a specific kind of awful.
Like, the idea that different races have different inherent personality characteristics--and intelligence levels--is pretty much a FETISH. But if you've read the series you know this. I'm here to talk about two specific things.
1) The idea that this stuff is problematic for adults, but not for children. When I was like, wow, has anyone done a reread of these? I came across a number of blog entries by parents, being like, yeah, there's some problematic stuff but they're fine for kids.

1-The evening of the 22nd of June, Miss #SarahSanders (#WH press secretary) went for dinner with her family to this little place called ‘The Red Hen’. It seems that she was unceremoniously kicked out &harassed some more all the way across the street to the next restaurant
