You quote all forms of corruption index data to mock Nigeria but you want a judge who hasn't touched his salary in 18months and failed to declare about $700,000 dollars, to remain as head of our supreme court..
The CJN should be the most honourable Nigeria..
He should be incorruptible, operating on the highest moral and ethical standard in the country. Here we have a man who wasn't honourable enough to resign after he was court on the wrong side of the law.
Instead he went about shopping for several injunctions to stop..
Him from facing the music. The same law he is meant to uphold has become his nightmare.
I wrote a thread on how our constitution will impede any meaningful development in this country. We have laws that favour the elites and kills the poor.

When a poor man commits a crime,
We won't hear any legal jargon or technicalities but the rich go to court and turn the law on its head under the guise of technicalities.. how I wish all the inmates/ those waiting trial in kirikiri have access to such luxury in our court rooms..
A poor man steals a goat, he goes to jail. A rich man steals the same goat and a team of SANs will file an injunction on whether the court should hear the case or claim the man forgot the goat wasn't his, the goat sounded much like his goat in the dark...he was playing with it
Why can't the CJN resign? Where is the honour at the bar? Should we still refer to this CJN as your lordship ? No way..

Some of you here ransack your nanny's luggage weekly just to be certain that she isn't stealing from you after subjecting her to asset verification and all..
You question her when you see her with suspicious items. You quickly check your closets to confirm that your jewelries are still intact. You chase her away based on suspicion that she is leaving above her means..

You are here defending a CJN / the highest symbol of law
The highest symbol of law in our land who is scared of being investigated. Instead of him to throw his hands wide open and say come I will defend myself, I don't even need a lawyer..I made a mistake and I am ready to face the consequences like a brave man, a samurai with a sword
A corrupt judge is worse than a terrorist..I didn't say this, the NBA did..

This is the type of news that gives Nigeria a bad name coupled with the shameless reactions from the citizenry who are in support of a corrupt CJN . I saw a video of the Kenyan president mocking Nigeria and corruption, he has every reason to do so..
