The fact is there is zero support for Assad from Hindu nationalists. In fact, from the Indian nationalist perspective, it is alarming for the US to withdraw from Afghanistan. This is the reason why “Hindu nationalists” get wholesome backing from both Republicans and Democrats.
It is ridiculous to say Tulsi Gabbard has anything to do with Hindu nationalism, because hello, she is not of Indian origin. This is the opposite of how Savarkar (who was an atheist) defined “Hindutva” or “Hindu nationalism”.

Now I don’t have any towel to throw in the circus that is American politics. But I care for the future of our planet and for stopping the endless destruction that is wrought on its life. To stop this, the American war machine hast to be stopped. No other way.
But would it happen with a change of president? I doubt it. Even Trump campaigned for stopping the wars. But he did jack shit about it (who was being fooled anyway?).
Like untangling a mess of wires, hauling the US economy out of this war machine, will take a lot of patience.
