4. Microsoft signed a 7-year deal with Chevron, worth hundreds of millions, to use its tech to "optimize exploration and marketing operations."

Amazon is working w/BP & says its tech can "accelerate & optimize exploration, drilling, and production"

5. Tech companies say they care about climate change. And are taking action to reduce their carbon footprints.

But they are also providing tech to oil companies that would make mitigating climate change effectively impossible

6. The IPCC is clear: the only way to avoid catastrophic climate change is to dramatically reduce consumption of fossil fuels over the next decade.
