Not sure if this is related; however, earlier this evening @CollectivePAC referenced racially motivated attacks from Northam’s camp. Is this foreshadowing of a response to allegations being made?

My interpretation is if Lt. Gov office is vacant when Governor leaves office then the Attorney General becomes Governor. That means Mark Herring is next in line.

If AG is ineligible, THEN it goes to Speaker of the House aka Kirk Cox who is the 1st Republican in the succession.

Yesterday afternoon was the first time I heard something on this story. What I saw matches what is in this post.

Murmurs started circulating a couple hours prior to the big league politics post that CNN has a story coming on it. 🧜🏻‍♀️
On the RVA Dirt Facebook page Vanessa Tyson replied in the comments affirming her consent for the post to be shared. 🧜🏻‍♀️
Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax has released a statement. 🧜🏻‍♀️

I’ve been asked a few times about Tyson’s FB account. I believe it was deleted. When I go to the message I sent her account and click on “view profile,” this is the message I get. 🧜🏻‍♀️

In December, on our weekly show #MUNICIPALMANIA, we spoke with Dr. Shawn Utsey about his research documented in Until the Well Runs Dry regarding the history at the Medical College of VA of using black bodies in the name of medical advancement.

Part of Utsey's research was around a man named Chris Baker who was the medical college's anatomical man. There is a well documented history of Baker stealing bodies for the medical college. In 1882 Baker & med students were caught grave robbing together & Governor pardoned them.

I want to talk about the language we use around sexual assault survivors, sexual assault allegations, and how for a lot of the discourse we’re actively masking the underlying process.

There’s a context in which “I believe survivors” and “believe survivors” is important. But it’s important because of the conversation that came before, it’s important because of the stage we have already set.

Sexual assault is not like alien abductions or magic or Santa Claus. It’s not so outrageous a concept as to require belief or disbelief. It exists and statistically it can happen to anyone. It’s probable. The issue isn’t belief, not really.

More than a yr ago I saw that old story about JT and the reporter being circulated by JT haters. Along with that were calls for a nice conservative lady to come forward with allegations against him. There were even offers of money for doing so. 2/?
There were also requests from right wingers for a man, any man, to come forward with sexual abuse allegations or even just gay sex allegations against him. Everyone can plainly see that this is not about #MeToo but about weaponizing a good movement for bad ends. 3/?
