Cory 2020 has announced an all-star lineup of team members in Iowa, NH & South Carolina. These folks are not only high-talent, they're good humans who will do a great job of carrying Cory's message to voters and caucus-goers. More on the dozen latest additions to Team Booker...
Cory 2020 Iowa state director will be Mike Frosolone (@MFrosolone), who I first met at a jersey diner last year. I need not say more, but I will: he's amazing with a wealth of experience. Iowa House Dems caucus director '16 & '18, worked prior in IA-3rd & ran state house race.
Cory 2020 Iowa Director of Operations and Special Projects will be @haley_hager. She served as 2018 State Director for NextGen Iowa. Haley launched her career as an organizer for Wendy Davis and Battleground Texas in 2014. She previously worked in Iowa’s First District in 2016.
Cory 2020's Iowa team welcomes regional organizing director @adamhpols, who in 2018 managed Kenan Judge’s successful bid for the Iowa House, flipping a critical seat. Prior to that, he organized for several Iowa campaigns, including the 2016 Iowa Coordinated Campaign.
Cory 2020's Iowa Senior Advisor will be @JosephOHern, who will be spending his fourth Iowa Caucus campaign with us. O'Hern was a field organizer for Obama '08, has worked for the Iowa Democratic Party, was Rep. Loebsack's manager in '16, & ran Ohio coordinated campaign in '18.
Cory 2020's Iowa Communications Director is Tom Pietrykoski (@tpietrykoski), who thinks he can leave his nickname "Tommy P" behind him in NJ. He can't. He has served as Press Secretary in Cory's Newark office & Communications Director for Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr.
Cory 2020's Deputy Iowa Communications Director & Press Secretary is Tess Seger (@tess_seger), who most recently served as the Communications Director for the Iowa Democratic Party. Seger has also served as a communications advisor to progressive federal and state campaigns.
Cory 2020's IA Organizing Director is @SarahSterner, who brings several cycles of experience in Iowa, including the '14 Midterms & Hillary Clinton’s successful 2016 Iowa Caucus campaign. Sterner served as the Statewide Organizing Director w/ the '18 Ohio Coordinated Campaign.
Cory 2020's SC state director is Christale Spain (@cspain1920), who has worked for Rep. Jim Clyburn, is founding chair of the SC Democratic Party Black Women’s Caucus, former ED of the SC Democratic Party & was SC Political Outreach Director for Sanders '16 presidential campaign.
Cory 2020's SC team welcomes @claynmiddleton, who is senior political advisor covering South Carolina and many southern states. Clay was SC State Director & regional political director for Hillary '16, SC Political Director w/ Obama '08 in general & has worked for Rep. Clyburn.
Cory 2020's NH state director is @erinturmelle, who was the Coordinated Campaign Director for the NH den party in '18, and previously as Political Director. Erin worked for Hillary in '16, and as Regional Field Director in New Hampshire in 2014 for Senator Jeanne Shaheen.
Cory 2020's New Hampshire Senior Advisor is Sean Downey. Downey served Political Director for Obama '12, was District Director for U.S. Rep. Annie Kuster, Senior Advisor to Governor John Lynch in '10 & held senior roles for Chris Dodd for President, U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh (1of2)
