While we can fault the way Nigeria was formed, we can’t ignore the obvious reality that equality was expected from the formula of our country’s creation.

This means that each zone gets a fair representation in federal parastatals.
People should be appointed into federal parastatals based on merit, I agree. However, we can’t wish away the expectation that each zone is realistically capable of providing anyone to step up when required.
Nigeria has continued to enjoy diversity in the appointments of people from different zones into important positions.

Well, until Buhari happened.

Buhari has ensured that every important parastatal in this country is under the authority of his kinsmen.
Are his kinsmen Nigerians? Yes.

Are there even more qualified people elsewhere? Yes.

Therefore, the notion isn’t that Buhari favors merit, it is that he doesn’t see or care that nepotism breeds disunity in an otherwise zonal beneficial setting we’ve enjoyed.
Unless we want to continue to deceive ourselves, Buhari’s concern isn’t for unity—peace and candor aren’t his forte.

His disdain for unity can be found in multiple instances of NEEDLESSLY aggressive military actions against differing tribes and religious beliefs.
Despite herdsmen killing thousands of people, Buhari never thought to declare war on them.

But IPOB deserved soldiers’ boots and guns to perpetrate a familiarly forgotten military assault on the Igbos.
The Shiites were wantonly murdered in large numbers for no particular reason. Their leaders incarcerated, despite court orders granting him release.

Everything Buhari stands for is nepotism and disunity. This is why this country has been ravaged to this point!
Is Nigeria a united country? I wouldn’t say so. However, Buhari has polarized this country along ethnic and—in some cases—religious lines. Forget that a Pastor is his running mate, he’s a stooge!

A country cannot succeed where the consequences of disunity rubs off on nepotism.
NNPC, Customs, Prisons, EFCC, Immigrations, Army, DSS, Police are all headed by an ethnic group and people of questionable relationships with the President.

A tribal bigot isn’t the right man to lead this country at any point in time, yet here we are.
A country as diverse as Nigeria needs a leader who is detribalized. A leader who believes no region is too big or small to be recognized. A leader who understands the importance of merit and capacity to deliver. A man who believes in results.

That’s what Nigeria needs.
Nigeria needs a leader who shows the similar enthusiasm and compassion to all ethnic and religious groups, regardless of how small or large they are.

Nigeria needs a leader who understand that unity brings progress and prosperity.

Nigeria needs a leader who works with others.
This is why it’s important to vote Atiku and Obi.

With Atiku, you get competence and capacity. In him, you’ll find a detribalized leader—one who favors capacity and merits over ethnic affiliations.

With Obi, you get a man who believes in visions and long-term success.
This is the perfect team Nigeria needs to move from the dungeon of insecurity, disunity, poverty and chaos that Buhari has plunged us into.

The message is simple, the action quick, and the result maximum.

Atiku is the message.
Voting him, the action.
Unity, the result.
“One nation bound in FREEDOM, PEACE, and UNITY”

Under Buhari, we have no freedom, no peace, and no unity.

With Atiku, we will have freedom, peace, and unity.

Atiku is the message.
Voting him is the action.
Peace and Unity is the result.
