in addition to being a source for Fusion GPS, Leshchenko was closely associated with execrable neocon Victoria Nuland, who turns up far too often in these events. Nuland was US point-person in 2014 coup in Ukraine. Third person is his bud, Mustafa Nayem.

On Nov 4, 2016, Cyber Berkut claimed to have hacked Ukrainian government documents showing that US State Dept had asked Ukraine to dig up dirt on Manafort during visit of Boris Lozhin to US in June 2016. State Dept official Evan Ryan identified.

Cyber Berkut said that State Department gave Ukraine some documents on Manafort as leads, including, ironically, a copy of a 2007 letter to Manafort from Glen Simpson and Mary Jacoby on whether he had registered at FARA for lobbying for Ukraine
Cyber Berkut claimed that the plan was to leak documents on Manafort to the press, that Leshchenko was conduit for documents from Ukraine NABU to media, coordinating with US Embassy - ambassador Payette and Shari Bistransky
Leshchenko's buddy, Mustafa Nayem, also has interesting backstory. He is famous for having issued the first call to mobilize on the Maidan - protests which led to US-backed regime change. At the time, he was working for US- and Soros- funded entity.
