This, from @siennamarla, is a good, balanced piece on Corbyn's letter. The most important thing about it is what it doesn't say: that free movement must end. labourlist.org/2019/02/what-c…
If you want to 'win' or 'hold Corbyn to account' or a hypothetically optimal outcome, you won't like the letter. If you're interested in the best outcome given what seem to be the prevailing political dynamics, @siennamarla's article outlines the letter's merits.
(Obviously it is possible the letter is akin to a 'transitional demand' made in the knowledge it cannot be accepted. But it's also possible it reflects @Keir_Starmer's long-stated preference for 'bespoke arrangements', as he would call them, or a 'good-enough fudge' as I might.)
