1/5 Faujis have been entitled to certain service privileges by law due to their hard & peculiar service conditions..CSD is one such unique privilege..but has been facing intense threat from MoD bureaucracy who wanted it either to be authorised to them or scrapped..

2/5 CSD is a Regimental Fund Institute..& Regtl Fund Institutes r authorised by law only to members of AF & their dependents.These have been given certain tax concessions by Govt..r unconditionally exempt from payment of income tax under Sec 10(23AA) of IT Act👇..
