Northam’s interview with the @washingtonpost is really something. Here, he seems to forget that his new story is that it *isn’t* him in that med school pic. 
Here he is explaining that the fault isn’t with something he did (or didn’t!) do 30 years ago, but with the commonwealth he governs today.
And here he is explaining that his mistakes 35 years ago mean that his employees, and students throughout the commonwealth, need sensitivity training today. (Because as you know, there’s very little attention paid to diversity in higher education especially.)
Postscript: the question of former governor Henry Wise isn’t limited to this portrait in the parlor. My former home of Wise County, VA is named after him. Do we change that name? Maybe just the name of the college there (UVA-Wise)?
