This par in the May letter to Corbyn is quite remarkable.
Firstly, and most importantly, I think this is the first example of a prime minister using a question mark to denote sarcasm.
Secondly, it is a magnificent clash of the unicorns, with May's no-customs-unions-but-all-of-the-benefits going up against Corbyn's customs-union-but-none-of-the-bad-bits. Glorious.
And then there's this bit. May can presumably sniff out the free-movement-for-workers compromise Labour is inching towards. She knows it would offer greater access. And she's sending out a warning shot.
