Recently I had the opportunity to tour our nation's southern border, including the now infamous Nogales region in southern AZ. What I saw what absolutely disgraceful and absolutely unworthy of a supposedly serious country.

So here's the picture we all see in the news. All is fine and well. We're building the wall! (or at least putting barbed wire on a fence)

But actually so much of of the border wall is too pathetic to even be called a fence. More like a couple of sticks.

yes----THAT is our f--king border.

I am standing in USA, the other side is Mexico.

We spend trillions of dollars on pointless foreign wars. And this is how we protect our own border.

Like buying your mistress the Hope Diamond and buying your wife something from Jared's (pun intended).

We do actually have a respectable amount of Bollard fence (built under Bush)... but as you can see it just kind of stops. A glass half-empty situation

Again, we spend trillions on dumb wars. The second there is the chance of pulling troops our of Afghanistan, the Senate JUMPS at the opportunity to stop it.

We collect trillions in tax revenue, and congress can't even work out a measly 20 billion in wall funding to protect US

If we don't have a border, we don't have a country. It's that simple.
