Maybe because your "civilizationism" is invented? These are hypocritical movements that seek money and power for their leaders, and indulge the resentments of their followers. They lie, cheat and assault the rule of law in order to stay in power. Nothing to do with civilization.
I repeat: There is a reason why these kinds of leaders don't like independent courts, independent media or an apolitical civil service. It's because they want to use the organs of the state for personal and party gain, and they need to cover that up.
Remember, we are talking about "anti-immigration" leaders who personally employ illegal immigrants, or "anti-communists" whose most trusted comrades include former communists and police informers. So if you care about immigration, or anti-communism, you should be wary of them.
